The fact you care enough to even read this page gives me the impression you’re a thorough person who likes to do their homework. And why wouldn’t you? Buying and selling property is a big deal, after all! Here’s a little about me to give you a better idea of what you might be signing up for:
I’m a goal-getter, and I like to think I help turn goals into addresses. I have a classic Type-A personality which means I use a task manager to stay on top of things, and I’m constantly taking classes to hone in on my craft. In 2024 alone I added a few string of letters to my email signature: RENE, PSA, and CFSP. Next up: my broker’s license! My industry changes regularly, and luckily I am a giant nerd who loves learning.
I also believe that good communication is the bridge between confusion and clarity. Will you ever know every aspect of buying and selling a house and all the intricacies of the 20+ page contract? No, of course not… but that’s also why you keep me around. Regular check-ins are absolutely a part of the process, and I’ve designed a bunch of graphics over the years to help illustrate the bigger points. And the communication doesn’t stop after you close on the property - as long as you own a house, my intention is to be in your circle of trust.
Between buying or selling or doing both and working and regular day-to-day juggling, I whole heartedly believe in throwing kindness around like confetti - both figuratively and literally. The systems I have in place allow me a lot of wiggle room so I can be flexible and help out beyond my job description. The best part? Aforementioned systems also allow the creative side of my brain to really flourish and spend time on design, too. When I’m not working, you’ll likely see me around town with my husband, Steven. We met at Hampton Roads Pride back in 2013 and got married in 2017. We moved 6 times in 8 years - we’ve lived in Chesapeake, Norfolk, and now the Oceanfront. We’ve had condos and townhouses and single family homes and rentals and learned a lot through renovating the majority of those properties. Throughout all of that craziness, we have some pretty fun stories to share that will hopefully save you some headache down the road!
